While the Electric Cooperatives of South Carolina (ECSC) is governed by a Board of Trustees, the Board also selects a smaller group of people to actively manage the Association.  This group is called the Executive Committee. It can exercise all of the powers of the Board between Board meetings.  The Executive Committee typically meets on months when the Board does not.  Membership in the Association’s Executive Committee is specifically defined as 1) the officers and 2) the chairs of the Communications, Government Relations, Legal, and LCT committees.  The officers are voting members and the committee chairs are nonvoting members.
