Together, we operate the largest electric distribution system in the state. More than 1.5 million South Carolinians in all 46 counties use electricity from electric cooperatives.

Executive Committee

Marvin W. Sox, chairman of the board of Mid-Carolina Electric Cooperative in Lexington is chairman of the Board of Trustees of ECSC.  He was elected to the position in December of 2012.  Sox succeeded E. LeRoy (Toy) Nettles, Jr., president & CEO of Pee Dee Electric Cooperative in Darlington, who remains on the executive committee in 2013 as an ex-officio member.  
 

Bob Paulling, CEO of Tri-County Electric Cooperative in St. Matthews, is vice chairman of the statewide association.
Charles R. (Dick) Burrell, vice chairman of the board of York Electric Cooperative is secretary-treasurer of the statewide association.

and John A. Bloodworth, Jr., board member of Fairfield Electric Cooperative in Blythewood.
