NEWBERRY ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE, INC. HAS AN IMMEDIATE FULL TIME POSITION AVAILABLE FOR AN ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field required.  Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience working within an electrical distribution power system.  Must have knowledge pertaining to the design, operation and construction of a distribution power system.  Shall also possess the knowledge and understanding of distribution SCADA controls, automated metering systems, system protection devices, line and power transformers and voltage regulators. Must have direct experience operating and maintaining distribution power substations along with modern substation design theory.  Information’s Technology and GIS experience highly desired.
