R.D. Bennett Scholarship and the Electric Cooperative Washington Youth Tour

Electric cooperatives sponsor the $5,000 R.D. Bennett Scholarship, awarded each summer to a rising high school senior participating in the Washington Youth Tour.

The one-time scholarship is awarded based on the performance and successful completion of a community service project in the student's local area.  A panel of independent judges selects the winner.

For Washington Youth Tour information, please contact your electric cooperative. The selection process begins in late fall.
