R.D. Bennett Scholarship and the Electric Cooperative Washington Youth Tour
Electric cooperatives sponsor the $2,500 R.D. Bennett Scholarship, awarded each summer to a rising high school senior participating in the Washington Youth Tour.
The one-time scholarship is awarded based on an essay submitted by each student on the Washington Youth Tour, not on scholastic standing, athletic ability or financial need. Essays are judged by Youth Tour chaperones.
For Washington Youth Tour information, please contact your electric cooperative. The selection process begins in late fall.
