Apprentice Dead End Bell Change

Question: Will you be changing out both bells on one phase, or both bells on one side of the pole?

Answer:  Apprentice competitors will change out both bells on the same side of the pole.

Question: On the apprentice dead end insulator change out, will competitors be required  to change out both sets of insulators on one arm, or both insulators on the sane side of the pole or same phase?

Answer:  Apprentice competitors will change out both bells on the same side of the pole.

Question:  Will the snatch blocks provided be a 2-part system or a 4-part system?

Answer:  The snatch blocks provided will be 2-two sheave blocks which is a 4-parted block system.

Question:  On the double bell change out does the nylon sling have to be used when using the snatch blocks?

Answer: Yes.

Question:  Can you change out both bells at once using all material given?

Answer:  No.

Question:  What size sling will be given on the Apprentice V-phase dead end bell change out?

Answer:  The sling will be a yellow 1” X 36” endless slings.

Question: What size grunt bag?

Answer:  The grunt bag measures 14” deep and 12” in diameter. They are Klein bags series number 5109

Question: What are the specifications for grip that will be used?

Answer:  Klein grip, Steel  .10-.37 4500lbs max.

Question: How long will the snatch block be?

Answer:  The Klein snatch blocks will be made up with the supplied 25’ of rope.

Question:  Will there be a neutral on the pole?

Answer:  Yes.

Question:  Can the snatch blocks be sent up on the handline and not in the bag?

Answer:  Yes
